Awarded via competitive tender, the project entailed the restoration and Refurbishment of two oak framed barns and cart shed into residential and office accommodation, demolition of redundant barns and out-buildings, construction of new underground garage and external works.

Working with a private architect Dorelbury blended cutting edge environmental technologies within a listed building. The client is so delighted that we are working with them on a further phase.
Significant H&S implications were encountered and overcome- the existing barns of oak frame construction were in poor condition, and unstable when stripped, requiring designed structural scaffolding.

There were not any load bearing existing floors and these were excavated for and inserted under the existing posts and framing with complex support required Weekly meetings with the architect and our H&S partner were conducted to ensure that all issues were anticipated and solutions agreed before they occurred
