Michael Dunn – Managing Director

Michael’s role as a director means he is involved in every aspect of the company. His work for clients involves quantifying and estimating large contracts, managing projects and ensuring all work is of the highest possible quality.

Working alongside commercial property agents, Michael advises many industrial property clients on various schemes within their portfolios. These clients include many well-known pension investment funds.

He specialises in public authority contracts, overseeing work for the likes of Hampshire County, Portsmouth City and Southampton City Councils, as well as numerous local housing associations.

He has extensive experience in all types of projects, from schools, libraries and museums to industrial units, office blocks and residential dwellings.

Michael has an ONC/HND in construction studies and is a CIOB member.


Richard Young – Director

Richard manages various site project managers and supervises Dorelbury’s direct and sub-contract labour. By working in close liaison with everyone involved, including caretakers, architects, surveyors, project managers and sub-contractors, he ensures every client’s project meets the company’s strict health, safety and quality policies.


James Warner – Small Works Estimator

James is an experienced estimator with a wealth of knowledge in the retail, office and industrial sectors. Among the clients he has overseen projects for are John Lewis, Wiggle, Unilever and M&S.

James is well suited to head up the small works division. His skills at interpreting clients’ requirements and detailing his proposals to provide a concise vision of the completed project have enabled him to build an impressive and enviable portfolio of returning customers.

His ability to turn around accurate and competitive quotes for clients under short deadlines makes him an asset to the Dorelbury team.

James has an ONC/HND in construction studies.


Mark Knight – Site Manager

Mark has been with Dorelbury for 16 years and has a wealth of experience in site management and precision joinery. His understanding of building standards and practices, accompanied by his desire to provide unbeatable customer satisfaction, means his projects are site managed to the highest esteem and not only fulfil but surpass clients’ expectations.


Chris Watkins – Site Manager

Chris has over 35 years in the Industry and has excellent building and construction knowledge.

Chris has a superb ability to get over challenging site problems and putting forward ideas to consultants, designers and architects.

Chris is well liked by our clients and also the end users of projects due to his knowledge and helpful advice.


Theresa Craik – Accounts Manager

Theresa is an extremely organised Accounts Manager with over a decade’s experience, making her the perfect person to look after clients’ accounts. Her meticulous eye for detail and ability to work to urgent timescales means she is an asset to each and every one of Dorelbury’s clients.

Theresa also manages the company’s ISO 9001.


Emma Kirby – Accounts Administrator

Emma joined us in May 2017 and has over 10 year’s experience in the Construction Industry (previously an Accounts Manager) which makes her a valued asset in assisting Theresa in our Accounts/Admin Office.

Emma has great organisational skills and knowledge and completed her ISO 9001 training in November 2017 shortly after joining our team.
